This is my online diary charting my discovery of the world of Hoop Dancing. It will be one week tomorrow that I first picked up a hoop as an adult and I am already addicted. I bought my first hoop last Wednesday and I bought smaller twin hoops yesterday.
I am having so much fun learning new moves that it hardly feels like exercise. I read something online today and it said that the reason it doesn't feel like exercise is because you just think; "I am going to have a play with my hoop".
My Hoop Dance teacher is Bee (Beata Varga) and she is a total inspiration. She began hooping just over a year ago and she is incredible. Check out my links page for her website which includes some videos of her performing.
